Upon the conclusion of the annual ordinary meeting, the Institute of Management Consultants and Trainers IMC – Jordan celebrated in acknowledgement of the International Consultant Day at the 5-Star Bristol Hotel-Amman.

The celebrations commenced by sharing a short video message from Aneeta Madhok, the Chairperson of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) that was addressed to all IMC members worldwide in response to this occasion.

The event continued with Dr. Maqbouleh Hammoudeh, CMC, full member, and CMC committee member, being granted the Fellow Membership at IMC-Jordan in recognition of her impact within the sector. Hammoudeh gave a presentation on her new book titled “Islamic Values and Management Practices: Quality and Transformation in the Arab World”, which is to be published in March of 2011 by Gower Publishing.

Fellow Member and consultant Mr. Rabi Dajani, CMC, then presented a speech titled “Thoughts on the Role of Management Consultants” where he discussed the importance of the unification of the consulting industry in Jordan in order to grow and further develop to achieve a flourishing sector benefiting not only those within it but the society surrounding it.

All participants then joined together for a brunch put together by the IMC-Jordan allowing them to close the celebrations out with relationship-building and networking to enhance communication channels, increase harmony and strengthen ties among our consulting community.
