The Orde van organisatiekundigen en -adviseurs, Ooa (The Netherlands) was founded in 1940. The Ooa currently consist of ca. 1800 members of whom 600 members are CMC certified. The aim of the Orde is to stimulate the professional and social responsibility of its members in the practice of their profession, and to promote and represent these interests. The Orde organizes lectures, workshops and conferences, in witch the improvement and quality of the profession are the key factors. The Orde benefits from the knowledge and expertise of its members and tries to stimulate the sharing of this knowledge in active social networks. In the resent years the Orde has been professionalizing its back office and organization. In the future the Orde wants to certify more of its members and member institutes.
